Kyla : Anytime

"Sugar and spice and everything nice" is the perfect description for sweet Kyla! A few weeks ago I had the honor of spending a few hours with a wonderful friend from work, Jessica, and her family! She asked me if I would be interested in taking a few shots of her daughter Kyla and of course I couldn't refuse! I've seen pictures of her and she is gorgeous! :) So as I was driving over to their house I couldn't help but wonder what the session would be like, how Kyla would respond to me and of course how the pictures were going to come out! But as soon as I got to their house and I could hear Kyla laughing in the background a peace came on me and I knew this was going to be a sweet session!

I started to get my camera out and taking a few test shots and there was Kyla running around the house stealing candy canes off the tree and eating them. I sat there for a second and I couldn't help but smile because you could see the love pouring out from Jessica and Scott for their daughter in their eyes. It is so refreshing to see honest love in a family. It doesn't matter if it's between a husband and wife or a mother and their daughter when it's genuine it is honest and pure and you can't hide it because it shines through their eyes! Sure things may be hard sometimes but it's real... and real love there is nothing like it!

Well, as you may have guessed the session went great! I had so much fun it's hard to describe in words how lovely Kyla is because she is so full of life! She is sweet and joyful and has endless energy with an innocence that would make your heart melt and a laugh as warm as Sunday afternoons. I really felt honored to get a chance to spend the afternoon with the Waymire Family and even if it was for a moment it was wonderful all the same. Thank you Jessica for allowing me to spend an afternoon with your precious family! So, here is a collection of my favorite pictures from two very wonderful sessions...
